Bands, bands, bands…

All we do is spam your feed, play and move on.

It’s time to stop and take a breath. Just leave an articulate stamp, something we can always go back to.

Fuck movies, no one’s getting there anyway - this is our official mockumentary in text. Still, you can treat this as S01E01.

This blog comes with a doomsday clock - it has been set for Feb 14 2024, when we’ll loose access to this place. Good art is temporary.

Now that the mission statement is out of the way, lets roll the tape. Opening scene: why make another band?

At the start of 2021 both me (Pavel) and Slaveyko were done with our other bands. We had our hearts open for experiments. We ended up forming Facepalm Death with the pre-meditated intention for it to be a break from what we’d previously done in terms of creative output (this was, and still is super important to me, and I will come back to it later - it has remained valid all the way through the existence of FD so far).

At that same time Slaveyko was working at a craft beer shop - bars were closed due to the pandemic, and the shop was the perfect hang out. One dear memory I hold is meeting some of our closest people & family there, just picking their brains about us starting something new, unlike what they’d seen us do before. One of the things I wanted to talk about was “Does anyone really need another new metal band”? Cause in all honesty nobody does, it’s a straight no.

So why do it?
