Lots of bands are born with, or adopt a concept to follow, and that’s fine - been there, done that. The thing about Facepalm is that if something feels good and true to us at the moment - it gets a green light. Yeah, it may get chaotic and it may not make sense all the time, but to be honest nobody can afford to get stuck in a single genre anymore. It’s just really boring. The nature of our band may have been behind Slaveyko’s idea to call it Attuned Dissonance (which ended up being a song title).

I think in this company of people (still Yavor, Slaveyko, Mads & me at the time) it’s relatively easy to get lost in planning. We regularly miss the point where planning becomes dreaming. 🌈

At the start there wasn’t a lot of talking about the music either, it was just happening at a ridiculous speed. We were busy talking about other things we wanted to do as a band, such as art direction...
